From a Horse Box to a Movement
The Liberty Kitchen began with founder Nikki Leys and a simple horse box at the beach. What started as a modest venture has grown into a thriving social enterprise in the heart of Aberdeen.
Our name reflects our mission — "liberty" represents the freedom and new opportunities we provide to those who have faced significant barriers to employment. Through food, we offer a path to rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.
Today, we're proudly located at the historic Wallace Tower on Netherkirkgate, serving the Aberdeen community with the same passion and purpose that started it all.
